BUYER BROKERAGE IN SHORT

Atlanta Georgia Real estate agents place their license with a Broker (i.e., ReMax, Coldwell Banker, Century 21, etc,). The Broker decides to represent only Buyers, only Sellers, or both Buyer and Seller at the same time. If you use an agent who represents Sellers, you may face a legal issue of "dual agency" or "designated agency" where the agent is supposed to get the best deal possible for both the Buyer and Seller and still be represented by the same Broker.

Does this make sense? NO Does this mean the BUYER is completely represented and gets the best deal? NO

If a Atlanta BUYER is NOT represented by an "Exclusive" Buyer Agent, the BUYER may not get all the information needed to make a good decision and not get the best deal! WHO PAYS BUYER AGENT COMMISSION?
